DISPATCH:

New York City.

Population: 8.5 million.

Square miles: 302.

Stench Level: incomprehensible.

Somewhere right now, a person holds their breath passing the garbage truck parked so fondly outside their apartment.

Somewhere else, someone jogs past the Gowanus Canal doing… whatever it is the Gowanus Canal does.

Every city has its victims.

People who did nothing wrong, yet are forced to hold their breath anyway.

And frankly, Febreze has had enough.

So we did what any responsible city would do.

We called in backup.

Placed near George Washing Bridge as you drive into New Jersey.

Placed outside of Fresh Kills Landfill.

Placed near the Gowanus Canal.

Placed in a subway station.

The Fresh Responders caution people about stinks everywhere.

What do you do when you can’t control the smells in public spaces. Most of us just deal with it and try to block it out…hope we go nose blind.

So we wanted to bring Febreze to typically “smelly” places that you usually ignore and Febrezify them to drive home the idea that any place that smells, Febreze is the hero that comes in to fix it.

Air diffuser placed in subway stations.

A Febreze garbage truck that drives around New York City.

A display of Frebeze scented trash bags to show off how when you expect smelly trash, you end up getting that nice Febreze smell.

Febreze creates an interactive social extension that gets the community involved by commenting places local to them that they think could use some Febreze.
